[Mark Hoppus] New Side Project 10HRSattheMACHINE

The Mystery Of 10HRSattheMACHINE
10HRSattheMACHINE, more than interesting, but what the hell is it? Mark Hoppus tweets a lot, it's a fact. But while we are thinking he is in the studio writes awesome new blink-182 songs, he is in the studio but with a new project called 10HRSattheMACHINE (Ten Hours At The Machine or Tenors At The Machine).

At the moment Tom is busy with Angels And Airwaves, Travis records his solo album with various gangstas, blink-182 is a band, Mark is just one third of it. He don't want to waste his creativity waiting for his mates, that's why he started a new (short-term) project.

From the tweets we know Mark plays the bass, the guitar and the keyboard for 10HRSattheMACHINE. He uses other virtual instruments (MIDI), he programs drums, etc. Would this one-man band be Mark's solo effort? Is it really a one-man band? Not really, his friend Chris Holmes is also in this project (He's the engineer/mixer/co-producer guy.), and they've worked with Joanna Pacitti on at least one song.

Mark hasn't spoken about the details yet, so I collected most of their Twitter messages on this topic... What do you guys think? (Waiting for James Montgomery's article about it on MTV.com.)
