i'm sad that another band i like broke up.
but i thought about it and i'm super stoked for marks stuff!! :]] i'm really curious for its sound and if the videos he posted a while ago of him recording is for this album i bet it's going to be amazing.

I can see his position, the guitarists of +44 doesnt seem to want to do anymore music/touring together and what should mark do? sit at home and do nothing, form a new +44 (sounds out of range for me, it would be a second +44) or go solo. i mean he wrote all songs on +44 anyway so i dont think we can expect a totally new sound to the songs, so in a way +44 is still alive lol Razz

maybe his solo project will be like a band, like the color fred or smthn. Very Happy

aw I'm disappointed, I would have loved to see +44 play sometime.. but I'm sure the Hoppus solo record will be unbelievble, I'm kind of said, but the Hoppus solo record, WOAH!

Wow like some of you this caught by a big surprise. I'm just shocked with no words to describe this. If he is willing to sacrifice a good band like +44 it better be to make way for a possible blink reunion if not then I'm not sure about the solo thing but I'll support Mark anyways. I just wanted to see what the second +44 record would be like but thats impossible now.

i think you can listen to the solo album and get an estimate on how it would have sounded in +44 i guess.

if you think about it mark's solo project will have barely any difference to what a new +44 album would have sounded like. shane and craig had absolutely no hand in the writing process of 'when your heart stops beating' - they joined the band after all those songs had been written. the album was purely mark and travis, and mark stated in the interview that he and travis already have played on eachother's songs and will continue to do so. +44's sound was never a product of the collaboration of mark, travis, shane and craig - it was just mark and travis, and we know we will be hearing more songs from those two in the future.

i didn´t expect this...maybe a line-up change but a total break up??
i´m stoked for mark´s solo record, maybe the end of plus 44 will be a move forward to a blink reunion??who knows...
