The request section...

What happend to that rule no requests if you don't have 30 posts? It's getting annoying with all these new people who only posts in that section. And why does everyone upload to the request section?

I'm new here, and just now I requested two instrumental songs, but that's not the point, the point is that even when I didn't had the media access I still could download things from request section and I was kind a surprised. So I guess that request section should be granted after you have access to the media, it would make more sense.

Yeah that's what I mean. On almost every DL topic in the request section there's always like four times more views than replys. Of course som people just check out the new replys but most people probabley just download the stuff.

I think that an admin should do something about it because the media section is losing its importance.

yeah, it's kind of annoyiong some people only post in the request section. and people upload in there and stuff, I think the rule should be you have to have at least 30 posts before your allowed into the media section or something

it´s a general problem...we (the mods) do everything in our power, but it´s almost impossible to control everything, cause we also don´t have the "real" power like admins have...and smurky and anton are almost never online...

we should combine all media and request sections to one main section and group the main section in a request and media section, and then it´ll be classified for blink, ava, +44, bcr, and so on.
and only users having at least 100-150 posts are allowed to enter the request section and all the other users having at least the "poster" rank are allowed to enter the media section. That´s it.

no more different rules for media and request access...

that´s my suggestion.

i agree, i think the request section should be in the actual media section and cannot be seen by those who don't have media access. however some users who have joined recently do upload some media, but have nowhere else to post it so put it in requests.. it's defiantly something that needs to be fixed, thanks for bringing it to light

someone of your mods should really get admin powers, atleast under the time the rest of the real admins are gone.

yeah i know, our strong community spirit keeps members coming here, but we need to also keep people coming by making the site look good and fixing problems like this one

That's actually a great idea. A lot of thos new members got lik 150 posts in like 3 weeks so it's not that big of deal and you can't spam your way in the rerquest section there.
